Today, The Wonderful Company officially changed the name of its real estate business, Roll Real Estate, to Wonderful Real Estate. This move recognizes the synergies between the company’s commercial real estate business and its Wonderful-branded agricultural businesses in California’s Central Valley. Its development unit, Roll Real Estate Development, will be renamed Wonderful Real Estate Development, and its property management unit, Roll Properties, will be renamed Wonderful Real Estate Management.
“As one of the largest employers in California’s Central Valley, we believe in the economic power of the region and are committed to growing a qualified labor force there,” said Stewart Resnick, Chairman and President of The Wonderful Company. “The ability to leverage our expertise in labor relations and the regulatory environment of the Central Valley provides current and prospective tenants of our commercial real estate developments with a unique strategic advantage. The seasonal labor demands of our agricultural businesses are also complimentary to the holiday labor demands many of our distribution center tenants experience, which is another great synergistic benefit.”
Wonderful Real Estate Development will continue to develop non-farming land, primarily business parks, warehouses and distribution centers in California’s Central Valley. Wonderful Real Estate Management will remain a property management service provider for over 30 office and industrial real estate properties, located largely in Southern and Central California.
